While Grounded isn’t exactly a game like the Outer Worlds, it can still scratch that exploration and RPG itch. The combat is smooth and easy to get into. It also puts you in the position where you have to battle ants, spiders, beetles, and other creepy crawlies. It offers surprisingly deep crafting and survival systems, as well as a solid online co-op option for up to 3 other players. Grounded allows you to collect resources and build a base using items within your backyard. Even something as simple as swimming in the pond can feel like you’re on a completely different planet.
